Hi everyone, My name is Aaron Dooley. I am a freshman at DMACC, and this is my second semester here. I am majoring in Business Administration, and I plan to transfer to ISU and major in Ag Business.

Well to let you all know about me my name is Alysen Sly, I am 19 years old. I have always wanted to be a nurse and now I am going through with my dream and going to school to become a nurse. When I was in high school I attended Southeast Polk from eighth grade tell my junior year and then my mom moved me to Story City and I graduated from Roland Story. I like to play sports, just hang out with my boyfriend and watch movies. I have one brother and one sister but also three step sisters and two step brothers.
Hi my name is Ho Soung, Jung. I'm from South Korea and this is my second semester here. My major is business and I'm living Ames. I'm going to Iowa stat university next fall semester.
Hello my name is Matt Cruse. I am 21 years old. I don't have any hobbies or interest during the school year, because i work full time at an envalope factory in Nevada, and I go to school full time. I am also in the Army Reserves, and have been for over 4 years. I don't get much time to myself, and any free time I do have, I just bum around with some friends and enjoy a few drinks.

My name is Megan Howard I am 20 years old. I am originally from Alvin, Texas. i have lived in Iowa for 4 years. I am a medication aid going to school for my RN. I like Iowa, and i plan to stay here.
My name is Tasha Nagel. I was born and raised in iowa. I have lived in Baltimore MD, and Palm Springs CA for a couple years right out of high school. It was great but, it's good to be home with my family. I just turned 21, so thats exciting. I love to dance, go out with my friends and spend time with my family. I have just been enjoying life and havin fun since i have been back.
My name is Jordan Troup, and I was born on May 16, 1989. I am from Jewell, Iowa. I attended South Hamilton High School in Jewell, and graduated in 2007. In my free time I hang out with friends and play video games. I plan to attend DMACC next year and then I may transfer to a bigger college such as Iowa State the following year. I am still unsure as to what I am going to college for and am hoping to find out in the near future.
My name is Jenny Evans. I graduated from Ogden High School last year. I grew up in Beaver, a small town outside of Ogden. I live in boone with two friends now. One of them is my twin sister. I plan on transfering to another college after Dmacc. I'm not sure what I want my major to be yet.

My name is Jovan Creighton, and I just moved here from Fort dodge. I was going to school at Iowa Central. I didn't really like so i decided to come here. My major is criminal justice, and I plan to go to Iowa state next year.
My name is Becca Peterson. I went to school at Ogden High School, and I had lived in Ogden most of my life. I am now living in Boone. Currently I'm majoring in Liberal Arts, but I'm not quite sure what I would like to do with that yet.

My name is Bonnie Mills. I moved to Ames in 2004, and attended Gilbert High School. There I was involved in a variety of sports such as basketball, softball, cross country, and track. I also joined the Ames swim team my senior year just to change things up a bit. I am now a freshman and have yet to decide what to do with my life, but no worries I still have time to figure that out. As for now I enjoy going to concerts and clubs to dance the night away. I'm always up for an adventure whether it be three in the afternoon or three in the morning.

I Live in Boone, Iowa with my mom. I have liveed in Boone since 2001. I was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa. I graduated from Boone High in 2007, and I am in my second semester at DMACC. I am also in the National Guard, I leave for basic training on May 7.
My name is Kris Edwards. I was born on January 25, 1988. I am originally from Watertown, SD, but I currently live in Des Moines with one of my friends. Two guys that I went to school with last year persuaded me into coming down to Iowa for school. Currently I am attending DMACC for Sports Management. After I graduate I plan on transferring, I just don't know where yet.

Hello class, my name is Josh Lawson. I attended Madrid High School in my junior and senior year after moving to Boone after my sophomore year from Hawley, Minnesota, which is just east of Fargo, North Dakota. While attending both schools, I was able to complete graduation requirements, so that I would be able to take college courses in my second semester. I enjoy playing football and I am hoping to transfer to a 4 year school next year to play at the college level. Next to football, I enjoy hunting, fishing, lifting weights and just hanging out with friends.
I graduated from Ames High in 2005 and i've been living in iowa for about 5 years now. I'm orginally from chicago,il, I moved to Iowa when my sister was attending Iowa state.I'm taking comp to improve my write skills, because i eventually want to be a journalist.
My name is Jacque. I am going to school part time right now and someday in the future I would like to transfer to Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque. I plan on teaching English as a second language to Spanish speaking people. I have a two year old little boy, Tyler. I work in Ames at a truck driving company with all sorts of other crazy people.

Hi There! My name is Heather Haskins and this is my second semester at DMACC in pre-nursing. I am a licensed cosmetologist and enjoy spending time with my eighteen month old son Riley. We just bought a house in Ames over the summer in my very limited free time like to fix it up.

Hello my name is Samantha Duryee. I am a freshman at DMACC, and I am going for nursing. I am from Marble Rock, Iowa, but now live in Boone. I attended Rockford Senior High and graduated in 2007. I have always lived in Iowa, but my plan is to live somewhere other than Iowa in the next 10 years.
Hello, my name is Andrea Harken and this is my first semester here at DMACC. I haven't figured out my major yet but i plan to transfer to Iowa State in the fall. I graduated from Boone high a semester early. I have lived in boone my entire life so i am looking forward to living in ames next semester.
My name is Candace Daiker and I am 22 years old. I graduated from cosmetology school to earn my cosmetology license and this is now my first semester at DMACC. My major is Liberal Arts, but I might try Fitness and Sports Management with an emphasis in Health because someday I want to become a nutritionist. My hometowns are Battle Creek, Ida Grove, and Odebolt, IA. I currently live in Ames and I love it there. I am excited to be back in school and am ready to expand my horizons!

I'm having a hard time getting used to the weather here in Iowa, but I'm really enjoying my experience at DMACC. My name is Ilsa and I'm from Nassau, Bahamas. This Composition class like many of the others is good, because it seems like both the attitude and intent of the teachers and the curriculum is to ensure our success. It's good to be in an environment totally geared towards our success. So I'm excited about this class and its implications for my future.
What's going on class? My name is Cory Van Pelt. I am a freshman at DMACC. First semester I went to Iowa Central in Fort Dodge, so this is my first semester here in Boone. I am going to school to become a teacher and a coach. I don't know yet what I want to teach, but I would like to coach wrestling, football, and baseball.
My name is Shayla Stephenson. I was born on 12/14/1989 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I have lived in Iowa for about 5 years. I am attending DMACC for a Human Services degree. Eventually I would like to counsel. I also plan on transfering to a four year college.

My name is Brittany Jackson. I was born June 7th, 1989 in Ames, Iowa and have been here my whole life. I graduated from Gilbert High School. I recently just enrolled at Dmacc. After taking a semester off I decided that my life needed more direction. I am just taking general studies at the moment, but hope to transfer to Hawkeye Community College for a Photography Major.

Hi my name is Allison Hutchens. I was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on June 7,1988. We then moved to Iowa two months after I was born and from that day forward I was raised here in IA. I now live in Grand Junction about twenty miles west of Boone. I graduated from East Greene in May of 2007. This is my second semester, first year at DMACC; so far my experience with DMACC is going well. I’m here because I want to achieve my goal: being accepted to the Nursing Program. I’m a CNA employed at Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson, IA. I really enjoy my job because I love taking care of other people. Normally, when I’m not working or not in class I’m spending time with my little Yorkie: Zena.
Hey there, my name is Kenny Rugg. Im 19 years old and graduated from South Hamilton High in Jewell, IA. Im a freshman here at DMACC, this is my second semester here, but my first semester at the boone campus, I took classes in Ankeny last semester. For right now I am just taking gen. eds. I plan to go to ISU in the future to major in broadcasting. Im hoping someday to go into radio.
